The Government is making it easier for e-hailing drivers to get their public service vehicle licenses.

The Transport Ministry says they can now take the necessary course online, instead of having to sit for a 6-hour class at a driving school.

This, after he-hailing drivers said they were struggling with the new PSV license requirement, because of the short-time frame given.

They also pointed out that driving schools were struggling to accommodate the high number of e-hailing drivers.

As for the association's claim that the cost of getting the PSV license is too expensive, the Ministry says that some e-hailing operators have already promised to bear the burden.
