We could be moving towards decriminalizing attempted suicide

Malaysia could be moving towards the decriminalisation of attempted suicide.

The Deputy Prime Minister has ordered the Attorney General's Chambers to review the Penal Code towards that effect, after chairing a Mental Wellbeing Meeting yesterday.

Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail also said calls to Talian Kasih and Befrienders will be made free of charge.

October will also be declared a mental wellbeing awareness month.

Kuala Koh search continues

The search for the remains of 12 members of the Batek tribe who died of a mysterious disease in Gua Musang, is going well. 

8 of the remains have been found so far, with search teams to go deeper into the forest today to find more bodies.

The de-facto Unity Minister is confident all graves will be located in a few days.

After that, the remains will be extracted, which will also take some time. 

TNB is fixing billing problem

Almost all the complaints about high electricity bills have been resolved!

TNB says 4 out of 5 complaints have been settled and it's working hard to deal with the remaining 3,000 cases.

Sanders out...Conway to follow?

More cracks have appeared in the US government, with an oversight agency calling for the firing of White House aide Kellyanne Conway. 

It says Conway violated an act which bans federal employees from campaigning for candidates while on the job. 

However, the White House has dismissed the advice.

This also comes after embattled White House press secretary Sarah Sanders finally stepped down, after three and a half years of defending President Donald Trump to the media.
