Compatibility tests for couples?

The government plans to introduce a personality test for couples, to test their compatibility before they tie the knot.

It says it is concerned about the divorce rate in the country and pointed out that most divorces involved couples aged between 30 and 34 years old.

It adds that most of these marrriages fail because they rush into them without knowing their partners well enough.

Perak exco under probe following sexual allegations

A Perak assemblymen is under police probe for allegedly raping his Indonesian maid.

Bukit Aman's Sexual, Women and Child Investigations Division confirmed the alleged victim lodged a police report recently.

So far no arrests have been made, but the suspect will soon be called in for questioning. 

The assemblyman has denied the allegation.

Motorists will pay less for toll, after highway takeover

The government has assured that motorists will pay less toll, once it completes its proposed takeover of 4 highways in the Klang Valley.

The Finance Minister told Parliament that instead of a flat toll rate, motorists will have to pay a congestion charge that varies depending on the time of day. 

Depending on the time of day, it can even be free 

The government is proposing to take over the Kesas, LDP, Sprint and Smart highways, at a cost of 6.2 billion ringgit. 

Meanwhile Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the govt has yet to make a final decision on the matter.
