Kids need to be taught on dangers of vaping

Students vaping is becoming a real concern among educators. 

The Malaysian School Principals Council says teens might be confused as teachers in school tell them smoking is bad for health, but their parents are smoking away at home. 

As such, he urged parents to be better role models and not just blame the children when they misbehave. 

Recently, a female student was spotted vaping at a bus stop, while there have also been reports of teenagers asking their parents for money to buy vapes.

2,000 self-service laundrettes in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah are at risk of explosions because they do not have gas licences. 

The Energy Commission has urged offenders to correct that immediately, after a couple of explosions at laundrettes last year killed two adults and injured two children. 

Both explosions were caused by leaks in the gas supply, because the piping systems did not meet standards set by the commission.

Police on manhunt for child molester

Another child molester is walking the streets, but not for long. 

Selangor police are hunting down a man seen in a viral video commiting an indecent act on a 9-year-old girl, at a supermarket in Rawang. 

He fled the scene soon after, but the girl's father lodged a police report.
