Tun M: Show me the money

The Prime Minister wants the RM19.4 bil in missing GST refunds to be recovered, or he'll still consider the money lost. 

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was responding to the PAC's report yesterday, that the money was not missing, just redirected.

The report also said the PAC detected a breach in procedure when the money was transfered to another account for operating and development expenditure.

There's more old than young

Youths in Malaysia are getting outnumbered by senior citizens. 

Those aged 0 to 14 years old dropped to just over 23 percent of the population this year. 

The National Statistics Deparment says there are 32.6 million Malaysians at the moment, most of them packed in Selangor. 

There are also slightly more men than women.

Don't drink cheap liquor!

Kajang police have issued a warning to the public to stay away from fake alcohol, after three people in the district died from fake alcohol poisoning this year. 

A Bangladeshi is still hanging on in critical condition, after ingesting toxic methanol.
