Getting to the bottom of the recent water cuts

The government is conducting a full audit on the nation's water systems.
The Water Minister said currently, there is no actual data on the whole ecosystem of the water industry in Malaysia.
This also follows two water pollution issues last week, that affected supply to over a million people in the Klang Valley.

Traders still selling Ghost Smoke candies will face the consequences
All traders have been warned to stop selling Ghost Smoke candies, especially to school children, or face legal action and a heavy penalty.
Over 100 packets of the candy worth RM54 was recently seized from a trader in Kulim, Kedah, who is now is facing up to three years' jail and/or a RM100,000 fine.
Ghost Smoke candies emit smoke like cigarettes, and have been banned over concerns they might encourage children to pick up bad habits.

Voting age amendment to be included in history syllabus
The History syllabus for Form 4 and 5 will be revamped, to reflect the change in the voting and election candidancy age to 18.
This comes as the Dewan Negara passed the bill to amend the voting age.
