The IGP says the number of drug cases in the country have doubled!

He says the govt has come up with several measures to tackle the problem.

Separately, almost 30 secondary school students in Melaka have been found to be involved in drugs in the first 5 months of this year.

Selangor has no intention to shut down plastic factories in the state, even though it has conducted a plastic-bag-free campaign for 10 years.

State officials say this is because consumers have a right to use plastic bags in their daily activities.

They add that the state govt will only educate them to reduce their usage, before a full ban on the use of plastic bags comes into effect in 2025.
