8 injured in freak lift accident in Kerinchi

8 people including a child have been injured following a freak lift accident at a PPR in Pantai Dalam, KL.

Bomba says 4 of them suffered broken legs, while the others had injuries to their ankles, when the lift plunged from the 5th floor. 

So far, authorities have confirmed what caused the accident. 

Malaysians in Thailand, be careful!

Malaysians who are travelling or living in Thailand, have been advised to be careful at all times.

The Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok said this, due to the bomb blasts in the Thai capital earlier today. 

Reports say 4 people suffered minor injuries due to the explosions.

Repair works on burst pipe to continue until midnight

Air Selangor says it expects to complete repair works on the burst pipe along the Federal Highway by midnight tonight. 

It says repair works are complicated, as the pipe is buried 5 metres underground, while there are other utility cables nearby.

The burst pipe happened because of work being carried out by a 3rd party.
