Malaysians need to be brave to reprimand litterbugs!

As such, the Housing and Local Government Ministry says it wants start a new campaign called 'Berani Tegur' soon.

It adds that netizens should start cultivating a culture where they dare to speak up against those who commit such unhealthy practices. 

The Ministry says everyone cannot rely on the authorities to alone to ensure a clean environment in M'sia.

PM gives greenlight for the introduction of khat language

The government is to go ahead with its decision to introduce Jawi calligraphy in the Year 4 Bahasa Melayu syllabus next year, despite pockets of protest.

The Prime Minister says the government never stopped the use of other languages’ writings adding that this is among the qualities that made Malaysia special.

This, comes a day after the Education Ministry said the plan will go ahead as scheduled.

It also assured that the implementation will not burden the students and teachers.

No dangerous ingredients in 'Ghost Smoke' candy

The Health Ministry says preliminary studies have found that a candy that emits a smoke-like substance, does not contain any dangerous ingredients.

But, it stressed that children should not be encouraged to consume it as it could influence them to become smokers.
