Aug 12, 2019

Norwegian authorities are investigating Saturday's shooting at a mosque near the capital Oslo, as a possible act of terrorism.

Police say the shooter had "far-right" and "anti-immigrant" views, and had praised the suspect in the Christchurch attacks in New Zealand earlier this year.

One person was injured in the incident on Saturday, as he helped to overpower the gunman.

The suspect, who is now in custody, is also accused of murdering his stepsister, who was found dead in a separate location.
