Body found in Seremban forest identified as Nora Anne Quoirin
Aug 14, 2019
Nora Anne Quoirin's body was found yesterday, 10 days after she went missing.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Mohamad Mat Yusop said Nora's family identified her and now it's up to a pathologist to conduct a post-mortem.
The Irish teenager disappeared from her room at a rainforest resort in Seremban earlier this month, while on holiday with her family.
Her body was found near a stream about 2.5 kilometres from the resort.
Meanwhile, The Irish President has expressed his sympathy to Nora’s family and thanked Malaysian authorities and volunteers for their assistance in the search.
Nearly 350 search-and-rescue personnel had been involved in the effort to find Nora.
The London-based Quoirin family had only checked in to the resort on August 3rd, intending to stay for a two-week holiday.
