Travelling to Singapore is going to become a bit easier

Aug 14, 2019

If you're travelling to Singapore on selected transport operators, you can now submit electronic arrival cards up to 14 days before you reach the island nation.

This means you will only need to produce your passports for immigration clearance upon arrival, instead of also having to fill out paper arrival cards.

The e-service is part of efforts to completely replace paper-based immigration clearance forms by 2021.

The Hong Kong airport has resumed operations after a night of chaos.

Hundreds of flights were cancelled yesterday after protesters flooded the terminal buildings.

The city's airport authority has obtained an interim injunction to ban protests at the airport, but it's unclear how effective the move will be.

It comes as Hong Kong enters its tenth week of anti-government protests.
