What is this Merdeka madness?

The Education Minister has ordered an investigation into allegations that a school received upside down flags from a supplier.

Dr Maszlee Malik said so in response to a photo shared by a Twitter user. 

The flags were attached to small sticks.

This is the latest case of the Jalur Gemilang being upside down. 

There were two instances in Pahang, one at a school and one at a car service centre.

Bank Negara makes it easier for Malaysians to own homes

Bank Negara has doubled the eligibility wage and price of the homes, to ensure more first time home owners will benefit. 

The 1 billion ringgit fund is now open to those who earn up to RM4,360 per month looking to buy a house of up to RM300,000. 

The enhancement will come into force next Sunday.

Syed Saddiq optimistic about Go-Jek move

The Youth and Sports Minister is excited at the Cabinet's tentative approval of his proposal to bring motorcycle ride-hailing service Go-Jek into Malaysia.

Syed Saddiq said the new industry won't just help the youth gain employment, but it'll also help reduce traffic congestion.

Syed's Ministry and the Transport Ministry have been tasked with coming up with the legal protections.
