Mini bus services could be making a return in KL

Mini buses could become a regular feature of KL's roads again, some 20 years after the service was discontinued

Rapid Bus says it's running a trial service, between the Bukit Indah hub to Ampang Point, from Sunday until the end of November.

It says it wants to see how mini buses will work in neighbourhoods with narrow roads.

Each of the buses can carry 30 passengers, and they will run on a frequency of 15 minutes during peak hours and 25 minutes during non-peak hours.

Several school students in Pasir Gudang fall ill

33 students in a primary school in Pasir Gudang, Johor complained of nausea this morning, after smelling a foul odor. 

All of them were referred to a clinic for treatment.

State officials say the situation is under control and the school is operating as usual

Meanwhile, authorities are still trying to confirm what caused the smell. 

Freak lift incident in Kerinchi due to brake failure
The Federal Territories Minister says the freak lift incident at a PPR in Kampung Kerinchi earlier this month was due to a brake failure caused by faulty mechanical components.

8 people were injured when the lift at the PPR plunged from the 5th floor.
