Syed Saddiq not in favour of raising retirement age

Syed Saddiq is firmly against raising the retirement age, as he believes the youth will suffer as a result.
The Youth and Sports Minister says the move will limit the number of high quality jobs for the youth, and also limit chances of promotion.
He also pointed out Malaysia's youth unemployment rate is almost double that of Singapore's, highlighting how much help our youth need.
The government is considering a suggestion to increase the retirement age from 60 to 65.

Fuel subsidy sooner than later?
The targeted fuel subsidy is closer to becoming a reality.
The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister says he has completed the paper on the move, and is waiting his turn to present it to the Cabinet.
But Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said implementation can't be rushed.
The targeted fuel subsidy for RON95 petrol will only benefit the B40 group.

Govt hopes for speedy process of Highland Towers land acquisition
The land acquisition process of the Highland Towers Condo is being held up by a few residents, who don't have the time to state their official agreement.
The government is hoping to settle the process by this month, so that the buildings can be demolished by the end of the year.
There is a proposal to redevelop the site of the 1993 tragedy into a recreational park and to build 50 bungalows there.
