Google helped solve a 20-year-old mystery?

Google Maps has helped authorities in Florida, US find the remains of a man,  20 years after he went missing! 

The police were called after someone spotted a submerged car in a lake right by the side of a road while doing a Google search.

It's believed all those years ago, the victim lost control of his car and drove into the lake. 

Should social media access be blocked during times of crisis?

Turning off social media during crises is not the best way to curb misinformation.

An Associate Professor from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia told us that social media can be helpful, for things like locating victims, rescue planning and data analysis.

This comes after a survey showed 75% of Malaysians would be fine, if the government temporarily blocks social media access in times of crisis to stop the spread of fake news. 


Latest update on the haze


Rain in the Klang Valley earlier today has done little to ease hazy conditions in the area. 

At last look, the Klang Valley was among 29 areas nationwide that posted unhealthy Air Pollutant Index readings of over 100. 

Meanwhile, Johan Setia, Klang had a very unyhealthy API reading of 243.

To help deal with the situation, Selangor says it will soon  conduct cloud seeding in areas that have very unhealthy API readings
