Sumatran elephant found poisoned to death in Indonesia

A critically-endagered Sumatran elephant, has been found poisoned to death, at a plantation in Acheh, Indonesia.
It is the second killing of such an animal in Aceh this week.
In the earlier incident, an elephant was found decapitated, with its tusks ripped off.
Woman arrested for strangling baby and stabbing mother
A woman has been arrested for allegedly strangling a baby to death, and severely stabbed and injured the infant's mother in Batu Caves, Selangor.
According to police, the suspect allegedly attacked the victim, because she was having an affair with his husband, and had fathered his child.
The suspect's husband is also in custody, to help investigations.
Sabah passed Bill to lower age of election candidates to 18

Sabah has passed a Bill to lower the age of election candidates from 21 to 18.
It is the first state in the country to do so in line with the federal govt's move to lower the voting age as well as the qualifying age to contest in a general election.
The Bill was supported by 55 assemblyman out of the total 65.
