Dec 06, 2019

The Education Ministry is investigating a viral video of primary school pupils singing a Mandarin version of Negaraku.

It says it will not compromise with any party that attempts to go against the Federal Constitution.

The clip has been viewed over 6,500 times since it was uploaded on social media.

Police are looking for a man, believed to be mentally unstable, in connection with a vandalism incident at a church in Bukit Mertajam, Penang last Wednesday.

They say CCTV footage showed that the suspect entered the St Anne's Church compound and proceeded to spray paint statutes there.

Police are investigating the case for mischief.
