Bear attacks man in Gua Musang

A man from an Orang Asli village in Gua Musang, Kelantan has been attacked by a bear while out searching for fruits.
The man suffered severe injuries in the attack but is in stable condition in hospital.

You should follow PLUS Malaysia's Travel Time Advisory for the North-South Expressway if you don't want to get stuck in the jam during the festive season.
Travellers from the Klang Valley heading towards Perlis, Kedah, Penang, North Perak, and Johor have been advised to enter the highway before 9 am.
Meanwhile, those heading to destinations closer to the Klang Valley are advised to enter the highway after 3 pm.

There are currently over 3,600 flood evacuees displaced in Johor, Pahang, Kelantan and Sabah.
Kelantan is the most-affected state, with more than 2 thousand flood victims.
Meanwhile, weather officials warned heavy rain is expected in several districts in Sabah until Tuesday.
