Singapore will stop accepting the Malaysian collective travel document, or MCTD, at its international entry points, effective January 1st 2021

Its immigration authority say it's to strengthen the security of immigration clearance at Singapore's checkpoints.

As such, Singapore says Malaysian travellers with an MCTD should apply for passports, if they plan to travel to the republic starting next year.
