Coronavirus patients to be monitored even after recovery
Feb 11, 2020
The Health Ministry will continue monitoring coronavirus patients, even after they recover.
Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says there is a possibility the patients could relapse, although there's nothing so far to indicate this might happen.
He says in most cases, once the body recovers from the virus, it will have enough immunity to fight it again.
In a related development, an advanced team of experts from the World Health Organisation has arrived in China, to investigate the coronavirus.
