Former Civil Aviation Department Chief, Datuk Seri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman has dismissed claims by former Australian PM Tony Abbot, that MH370's dissapearance was due to mass murder-suicide.

He says the allegation was never proven, and accused Abbot of reopening old wounds for the victims' next-of-kin.

Abbot made the claim in a new documentary about the tragedy.
