Tun M: I will decide when to step down

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says Pakatan Harapan has given him the mandate when to step down from the premiership after the Apec Summit in November.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he will be patient and leave it to Tun M to decide when to step down as PM.

PH had agreed that Tun M would be Prime Minister for two years before passing the baton to Anwar, prior to GE14.

The Domestic, Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry says about 10 million face masks will be available in the market in the coming week.

This is in line with the govt's assurance to get manufacturers to produce more face masks in order to address a spike in demand amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

On the food bank programme, it says it is expecting the number of donors to increase by 20 percent, after the Food Donors Protection Bill was passed in October last year.

Last year, the programme benefited more than 12 thousand students in public higher learning institutions.
