COVID-19: Malaysian total passes 90

The Health Ministry has confirmed another 10 new cases of COVID-19.

This brings the total number of positive cases to 93, including 75 Malaysians.

Of the total, 23 cases have been given a clean bill of health, while the remainder are still undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

So far, two people are confirmed dead, after a hotel being used to quarantine COVID-19 patients in Fujian, China collapsed. 

Nearly 50 people have been rescued from the rubble, while several others are still missing. 

The cause of the collapse is still unknown.

Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says he has decided not to offer himself for consideration in PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's Cabinet line-up.

Zahid, who is a former deputy prime minister, says Umno and BN had submitted a list of proposed names to be considered.

They include new faces, young personalities, professionals and technocrats.
