Msia's New Cabinet Has Been Unveiled

The new Cabinet will not have a Deputy Prime Minister. 

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says instead of a Deputy Prime Minister, he will have four senior ministers to assist him in Cabinet-related matters.

Ther four Senior Ministers are: 

Datuk Seri Mohd Azmin Ali, who will be the new International Trade and Industry Minister.

Datuk Seri Fadilah Yusof as Works Minister 

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob as Defence Minister

and Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Mad Jidin as Education Minister.

Other Cabinet members include Khairy Jamaluddin who has been appointed Science, Technology and Innovation minister

Datuk Seri Reezal Merican is now Youth and Sports minister. 

The Women and Family Minister's post goes to Datuk Sri Rina Harun. 

And the Foreign Ministers post goes to Datuk Sri Hishammuddin Hussein.

Meanwhile, the PM adds that all chosen Cabinet members have passed MACC and PDRM checks

The swearing in ceremony will be held tomorrow at 3pm, at Istana Melawati, Putrajaya, 

Perak To Be Led By Perikatan Nasional Coalition

Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has announced that Perikatan Nasional will form its new state government. 

This after 32 state assemblymen from UMNO, Bersatu, and PAS threw in their support for the new coalition. 

Meanwhile, three lawmakers from DAP and Amanah have declared themselves as Independent, to show support for the Perikatan Nasional administration. 

Malaysia's COVID-19 Tally Exceeds 100 

The Health Ministry has confirmed 18 more people have tested positive to COVID-19.

Bringing Malaysia's tally to 117 infection cases. 

The country's 101st infection case, has a recent travel history to Iran, while six cases from the second wave of infections have history of travelling abroad.
