Body of third Covid-19 victim laid to rest

The body of a 58-year-old man in Tawau, who died of Covid-19, was laid to rest last night in Sabah.

The man, who was the third Malaysian Covid-19 fatality, was part of the Sri Petaling mosque cluster.

Meanwhile, another 130 new Covid-19 infections were reported yesterday, bringing the total in the country to 1030.

Higher education institutions can continue teaching and learning activities via e-learning

The Higher Education Ministry says all higher education institutions in the country can continue teaching and learning activities via e-learning.

But this is provided all students have access to the internet, lecturers and the required infrastructure.

Supply of poultry and eggs sufficient for all

The government has assured that there is sufficient supply of poultry and eggs during the implementation of the MCO.

It adds that supermarket operators were also urged not to hike the prices of goods during this period.
