Malaysia's total COVID-19 deaths at 100

The number of recovered COVID-19 patients today has AGAIN exceeded the number of new cases.
75 patients have been released from hospital, compared to only 31 new infections.
Meanwhile our COVID-19 death toll has now reached 100 fatalities, after one more patient passed away.
New SOP to be finalised for COVID-19 green zones
Malaysia’s number of COVID-19 green zones have increased following a drop in active infection cases.
As such, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the National Security Council will be finalising a new SOP should restrictions be lifted in green zones.
Meanwhile food outlets in COVID-19 green zones may be allowed to operate until 10pm during Ramadhan.
Datuk Seri Ismail says the matter will depend on the new green zone SOP by the National Security Council.
He adds that for now, food outlets will continue to operate until 8pm daily.
More university students to return to hometown during MCO
Over 80 university students in the northern region will travel to the country’s central zone tonight.
As for tomorrow, Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says that more than 4,000 students will be returning to their hometowns within the same zones of their university campuses.
Yesterday over 700 students safely returned to their hometowns up north in Kedah, Perlis and Penang.
