70 more patients recover from COVID-19 today

The number of patients released from hospital has again exceeded the number of new COVID-19 cases.
70 patients recovered today, compared to only 40 new infections.
Msia’s total number of cases now stands at 6,819, but only 1,300 are active infections.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 112, after one more patient succumbed to COVID-19.
Spouses in separate states allowed to cross borders during CMCO
The government has reiterated that spouses who work in separate states are allowed to cross state borders during the Conditional Movement Control Order.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they can do so once a week, but they will need to get police permission first.
Returning Sabahans to undergo mandatory quarantine following rise in COVID-19 cases
Starting today, all Sabahans returning to the state MUST be quarantined at gazetted quarantine centres.
The state government says this follows a rise in COVID-19 cases, due to returnees failing to fully comply with home quarantine orders.
It adds that returnees will only be allowed to observe their quarantine at home after authorities have assessed their health and home facilities.
