No More Inter-State Travel!
May 21, 2020
Starting today, Msians will no longer be allowed to cross state borders for the duration of the Conditional MCO.
The Defence Minister says this is due to a surge in the number of people applying to cross state borders.
However, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says those whose applications were already approved can still proceed with their journeys.
He adds that anyone attempting interstate travel will now be given on-the-spot police compounds at roadblocks.
Over 2,400 motorists attempting to cross state borders for Aidilfitri were told to turn back yesterday.
