Tun M insists he's still Bersatu's Chairman

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad claims that he will continue his role as Bersatu Chairman.

He says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s appointment of a new organising secretary is invalid as it violates party rules.

Earlier, Tun M along with other members including Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, and Dr Maszlee Malik were sacked from the party.

COVID-19 numbers spike again this week

Malaysia’s total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 7,629, after reporting 103 new cases today.

Also, no new deaths have been reported, meaning the country’s COVID-19 death toll remains at 115.

Meanwhile, Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says it's not necessary to wear a face mask while jogging, as long as you practice social distancing.

Terengganu now a green state

There are no more active COVID-19 cases in Terengganu, making the entire state a green zone.

This is after its Health Department said its last COVID-19 patient was discharged from hospital yesterday.

Previously, the state recorded over 100 infection cases with one death.
