No COVID-19 deaths reported for 10th consecutive day

Another 38 COVID-19 cases were reported nationwide today, raising the total to over 7,800.
However, only 1,200 are active cases.
Meanwhile 51 patients were discharged from hospital, meaning that 6,400 patients have now recovered.
The death toll remains unchanged at 115, after reporting zero deaths for the 10th consecutive day.
No decision yet to reinstate RM1 fee for ATM cash withdrawals
For the time being, you STILL won’t be charged a RM1 fee for making withdrawals at ATMs.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the govt has not discussed bringing back the fee, which was waived at the start of the Movement Control Order.
He said, “Tidak ada perubahan. Masih lagi dikecualikan fee RM1 untuk setiap pengeluaran wang ATM tersebut. Jadi kita boleh enjoy faedah yang kita perolehi hari ini, iaitu pengecualian fee RM1 tadi.
This is after the govt decided to allow ATMs to revert back to their old operating hours, prior to the MCO.
Only selected student groups allowed at university campuses
Only three groups will be allowed to be at university campuses for the October academic session; namely new and final year students, as well as those pursuing post-grad studies.
The Higher Education Ministry adds, the remainder will continue their studies online.
The ministry adds, it's looking into calls to lower the fees for private higher-learning institution students, amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
