Why is this month's water bill higher than previous months?
The National Water Services Commission has explained why your May water bill is higher compared to March and April.
It says the previous two bills were based on estimates, because the Movement Control Order prevented on-site meter readings.
Actual meter readings resumed last month, meaning that the calculation for May bill takes into account adjustments for the March and April bills as well.
