MOH reveals Malaysia's timeline to be free of COVID-19

Malaysia will be declared free of Covid-19, if we go 28 days without any new infections.

It came as Malaysia recorded 31 new infections yesterday, ending a three-day run of single-digit increases.

11 of yesterday's cases involved returning Malaysians who were infected overseas.

The Transport Ministry is urging people to give airlines more time to lower their ticket prices.

This is because airlines are only just starting to normalise their operations, having experienced an over 95 percent drop in passenger volume during the MCO.

Penang is allowing non-water-based theme parks, art, music and dance classes, as well as cybercafes to reopen under the Recovery MCO, with all operators required to sanitize their premises beforehand.
