Home-based learning not limited to just online classes

Teachers can use different methods to conduct Home-based Teaching and Learning lessons, if necessary.

The Education Ministry says online classes are not the only option.

Its Minister says some schools have conducted drive-thrus to hand out learning modules for their students.

Penang authorities to discuss action against Thaipusam order violators

Penang state authorities will discuss the penalties it will mete out to temple committee members who went ahead with the Thaipusam chariot procession this morning, without permission to do so.

Once a decision is made, it will be brought to the state exco for approval.

It reiterated that the event was not allowed to take place, due to the country's COVID-19 situation.

Today’s highest COVID-19 tally detected in Johor

3,680 new COVID-19 cases were reported today.

Johor had the highest number of infections with 1,069, followed by 822 in Selangor, and KL 698.

The Health Ministry recorded 7 more fatalities, raising the death toll to 707.
