Several states to be placed under MCO

Several states are set to be placed under a Movement Control Order starting this Wednesday, for two weeks.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says they are Penang, Selangor, the Federal Territories, Melaka, Johor, and Sabah.
He adds that Perlis and Sarawak will be under a Recovery MCO.
On another note, Tan Sri Muhyiddin says interstate travel will not be allowed nationwide, while inter-district travel will not be allowed in areas under the MCO.

Cabinet ministers urged to undergo COVID-19 testing
All Cabinet Ministers must get themselves tested for COVID-19, after two ministers tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Health Ministry says it will also conduct risk evaluations for all ministers.
Women, Family, and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun, as well as Minister in the PM's Department, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed were both infected by COVID-19.

Malaysia agrees to buy 12 million more doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
Malaysia has agreed to purchase an additional 12 million doses of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
The Health Ministry says the new deal will be enough to vaccinate almost 40% of the population.
This is after the ministry signed a manufacturing and supply agreement for the vaccines.
