School textbooks now available in digital form

Schoolchildren can now get access to their textbooks in a digital form via the Education Ministry’s app, known as KPM eTextbook Reader.
Internet access would not be required to use the app, which can be downloaded for free via the Ministry’s official website.
The Science, Technology, and Innovation Ministry has assured that Malaysia will not go through with its Covid-19 vaccine procurement deals if the vaccine does not meet standards.
Khairy Jamaluddin reiterated that the agreements are subject to approval by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency, which would assess the vaccine candidates for its safety and efficacy.
This comes after Brazilian clinical trials found China's Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine to be 50.4% effective.
The Health Ministry reported 2,985 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, pushing the country’s active cases to over 32 thousand.
The bulk of infections came from Selangor, Sabah and Johor – all states under the new movement-control order.
