Affected by Covid-19 or floods? You can apply for a moratorium on your PTPTN loans

PTPTN borrowers affected by the MCO or floods may apply for a three-month loan repayment moratorium.

PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in his special address on the new economic package yesterday, says applications can be made until March 31st.

He also announced the extension of the provision of 1 free gigabyte of data for the public to browse websites, including for educational purposes, to the end of April.

The Education Ministry has cancelled the SPM trial examinations.

This as the trials were earlier postponed because many schools came under areas that were under the conditional MCO.

Malaysia added another 3,306 Covid-19 cases yesterday, with active cases at over 38 thousand.

The highest number of cases were reported in Selangor, Sabah, Johor, KL and Melaka.
