New COVID-19 cases up to 4,000 again

4,008 new COVID-19 cases were reported today.

Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 1,391, followed by 513 in KL, and Johor 470.

Meanwhile, 11 more patients have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 630.

Death of government doctor not due to fatigue

Dr Ali Noor Hassan, a government healthcare frontliner, did not die due to exhaustion as initially claimed.

The Health Director General says the doctor was suffering from other underlying conditions.

As such, he has urged the public not to speculate over the case.

Home Affairs Ministry says Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin is stable

Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin is in stable condition, while recovering from COVID-19.

The ministry says that any update on his health will only be issued by his office.

It was responding to viral claims alleging that Datuk Seri Hamzah was moved to the intensive care unit.
