Non-Malaysians to also get COVID-19 vaccine for free

Foreign citizens living in Malaysia will get vaccinated against COVID-19 for free, under the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
The government has assured that there is enough supply of doses, adding that it will help boost the country's efforts to reach herd immunity.
The Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister adds that the program's special committee will also discuss giving the vaccine to undocumented migrants.

Malaysian GDP shrank 5.6%, lowest since 1998
Malaysia's GDP contracted 5.6% last year, the lowest in over two decades.
The Statistics Department it's mostly due to the Movement Control Order enforced last year.
Meanwhile, Bank Negara says the latest GDP forecast 2021 will be revealed next month.
Previously, the GDP was projected to grow up to 7.5% this year.

The country records another 3,300 new COVID-19 infections
Malaysia reported 3,384 new COVID-19 cases today.
Selangor continues to record the highest number of infections, with 1,082 cases, followed by 777 in Johor, and KL 435.
13 more patients have succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 936.
