Police permission no longer needed to send kids to school

Parents will no longer require permission by the police to cross state or district borders, to send their kids to school.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says they will only need to show a letter from the school at roadblocks.
On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail says Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) will be allowed to take place in areas under the MCO, starting next Friday.
He says this will be subject to SOPs including a limit on the number of attendees.
Also, Datuk Seri Ismail says street musicians and buskers will be allowed to perform in MCO areas, provided they follow health guidelines.

New COVID-19 cases less than 2k today
Malaysia reported fewer than 2,000 new COVID-19 cases today, with 1,924 infections.
Selangor had the highest number of infections, with 666 cases, followed by 257 in Johor, and Sarawak 219.
The Health Ministry also recorded 12 more fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,100.

‘Influencers’ actually clinical department heads
The Health Director General has clarified a recent report, claiming that several influencers will receive their COVID-19 vaccine jabs at the Serdang Hospital tomorrow.
He says that these so-called influencers are actually the hospital’s clinical department heads.
