Starting Monday, all Malaysians nationwide will be able to book an appointment on MySejahtera to take their COVID-19 booster shot.

It’s to speed up the booster vaccination rate especially among those who are at risk of losing their fully vaccinated status should they fail to get the jab by the end of this month.

Currently, over 15 million adults throughout the country have already received the booster.

59 more COVID deaths, daily infections drop to 24k

59 more patients succumbed to the coronavirus yesterday, 13 of which were classified as brought-in-dead cases.

Perak recorded the most fatalities, followed by Selangor, and Johor.

This, as daily COVID infections fell to 24,241, which dropped by some 2,700 cases from the previous day.

There were also more than 26,000 recoveries.

Finance Ministry denies minister’s resignation letter

The Finance Ministry has denied receiving a resignation letter from its minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.

This comes after the fake letter went viral on social media.

Tengku Zafrul earlier rubbished speculations over his resignation, explaining that his recent absence from the Dewan Rakyat was due to a personal emergency.
