Payment for the special RM10,000 EPF withdrawal scheme will be credited earlier than scheduled.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz says applicants will receive the payment starting today, instead of Wednesday (April 20).

As such, he says those who applied for the withdrawal earlier this month can begin checking their accounts from today.

However, those who have yet to receive the payment need not worry, because it is being credited in stages.

Meanwhile, those planning to apply for the withdrawal can do so until the end of this month (April 30).
