"Indecent" Facebook Page Taken Down

The Facebook group allegedly sharing pictures of Malaysian schoolgirls, has been taken down.

According to the Deputy Communications Minister…the MCMC had recently contacted Meta to disable the account in question.

She adds that the Commission will also continue working with PDRM to investigate the case further and take action.

The government has no plans to bring back the Goods and Services Tax anytime soon.

The Prime Minister says that since GST is a broad-based tax that is applied uniformly to all consumers, it will end up burdening the poor, who are already struggling with the rising cost of living.

However, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says GST may be brought back, when the economy and the minimum wage improves.

The Health Ministry has no intention of making it compulsory for Malaysians to get additional Covid-19 vaccines.

Its minister says they will maintain their policy of optional vaccination, even with the recent rise in infections.

The conflict between Iran and Israel is intensifying, with the two countries continuing to exchange missile attacks.
