RM4bil Needed To Repair Roads

The Works Ministry needs 4 billion ringgit to repair damaged roads nationwide.
However, it says its only received about half this amount, due to various limitations faced by the government.
It adds that rainy weather and overloaded heavy vehicles are the two main causes behind damaged roads in the country.

The Deputy Digital Minister says its because of the rise in AI-related crimes…which have resulted in around 5 billion ringgit in losses globally between 2020 and 2024.
