No Major Damage From Johor Quake

Officials have confirmed that no telecommunications facilities or gas pipeline infrastructure were damaged during yesterday’s earthquake and aftershock that hit Johor.
The Communications Ministry says it has not received any reports or complaints of service disruption so far but will closely monitor the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Petronas says that all gas pipelines in the region remain fully secure and operational following the tremor.
In a related development, Segamat police have received three reports on property damage there so far due to the quake.
Cops add that there have been no reports involving injuries or casualties.
This, as the DPM assured that Met Malaysia will continue conducting follow-up monitoring.
As such, he urged Malaysians to only refer to official channels for updates to avoid fake news.

Authorities are stepping up efforts to enhance the safety of the DASH highway.
