PDRM Working On New Strategy For Schools

Police are working on a new strategy to increase their presence and visibility in schools.
The Home Ministry explains that this will involve the cops conducting more patrols, and coming up with more creative ways to raise student’s awareness about criminal activities.
This comes after the Cabinet instructed the Ministry and PDRM to enhance safety in schools, as part of efforts to curb juvenile crime.

In a related development, the government will introduce new SOP’s to ensure that all court cases involving minors are resolved within a year.
According to the de-facto Law Minister, the guidelines will be launched later this month, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the judicial system for kids.

Klang Valley residents are urged to cooperate with the police, to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the ASEAN Summit later this month.
PDRM says this includes avoiding unnecessary travel into the city, and following instructions during road closures and diversions.
The cops admit that there will be some inconvenience for city dwellers…but called on everyone to play their part to make the event a success.
