govt to decriminalize drugs? Malaysia could decriminalize drug use and small-time drug possession.

The Health Ministry says the government has already formed a technical working committee to study the proposal. 

This, as part of efforts to recognize drug use as a public health issue instead of treating it as a crime punishable by law.

Around 98% of the total Sara recipients have used their MyKad to purchase basic goods so far.  

The Finance Ministry adds that this figure reflects a spending value of 3.66 billion ringgit. 

The highest usage rates were record in Perlis, Sabah, Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah – at 100%.

The East Coast Rail Link project has achieved over 88% overall progress following the completion of the C1B Segment. 

This also marks the successful completion of the initial phase of civil works.
