M'sian Passport World's 3rd Most Powerful!

Malaysia’s passport is now the third most powerful in the world! 

This, after the 2025 Passport Index was released, with the Malaysian passport allowing citizens visa-free access to 174 countries worldwide. 

Meanwhile, the UAE passport took the top position, with 5 more countries than us. 

This was followed by Southeast Asian neighbor Singapore, which tied with Spain for second place.

University lecturers must remain focused on their own fields of expertise. 

The Higher Education Ministry adds that lecturers should avoid making public comments on matters outside of their specialization. 

It explained that it's because the academic world must follow established procedures and guidelines to avoid any confusion.

Malaysia will decide on its potential involvement in a humanitarian mission in Gaza by the end of the year.
 
Authorities add that discussions are ongoing, and that they'll take developments in the region into consideration.
