The Health Ministry may outsource some of its child health screenings and follow-ups to private GPs.
It says it's aimed at reducing the reliance on govt health facilities for such services.
It would also allow working parents to bring their children to nearby GP clinics for such screenings outside of their office hours.
The move is meant to help tackle the problem of malnutrition and stunting among kids from low-income families.
