Ministry Clears Summons-Budi95 Confusion

The Transport Ministry has clarified that outstanding traffic summonses will not affect a motorist's eligibility for the BUDI95 petrol subsidy.
It explained that they're two separate matters that operate independently without any connection.
The ministry adds that a Malaysian citizen only needs a MyKad and valid driving license for the subsidy.
It said this following earlier reports claiming that those who don’t pay their summonses will lose access to the Budi95 subsidy.

The government is stepping up efforts to review child safety risks in online gaming.
As such, it will conduct a comprehensive review and consult the relevant stakeholders to obtain their views and input.
In the meantime, the Communications Ministry has urged parents to monitor their children online to prevent exposure to violence, crime, gambling, and virtual rewards that could encourage aggressive behavior.
It also stressed that a digital device should not act as a substitute for a parent.
